Project overview
Team members prepared a 5 phase final report for a multi-phase community microgrid programme commissioned by a local authority in the north of England. The programme is developing a community energy system integrating solar PV, battery storage and a local distribution network to serve a residential and commercial area.
Our work
Team members produced the technical report covering system design, equipment specifications and performance modelling. We also prepared a detailed financial model covering capital costs, operating costs, revenue streams including grid services, local energy tariffs and DSO flexibility payments, and a comprehensive risk register identifying and assessing the principal risks to the project delivery and ongoing operation.
